No issues at all with eating. I have a temp that looks half way decent and makes my smile look more like it should have looked when I started this 25 years ago. I was advised to take it easy the first few days while eating and cleaning around the gum, like not eating popcorn and to rinse with salt water, no problems. Never would I have thought an implant could be so simple and painless. He advised that is his goal with everyone, to make dentistry painless. I know I appreciate it! He said he has a guy fly in from Puerto Rico for his dental work. Glad I live twenty minutes away.
I agree with making sure the dentist you use has special training and certification in the area of cosmetic dentistry. Everyone wants to jump on board and call themselves cosmetic dentists, when in fact they are experimenting on you. I have found out the hard way, and it also hurt my wallet. But what is worse is the horrible way my teeth turned out. But to the guy in this post, your teeth are gorgeous. I think you are being too critcal. I will trade with you.
As you can see, my post was specifically addressed to Spitfire2 and her request for information. I understand there are a few people who have negative reactions to something they voluntarily chose to do to their body. But most people, as demonstrated by the numbers posted on this site, have a positive reaction to it. As with my neighbor and her migraines. My life changing issue was Boniva, seen on t.v. everyday as being the wonder drug. But that is another website in itself. I don't condemn those who are able to use the Boniva without side effects and support it, nor try to bully someone off a post because I disagree with their opinion. Personally, I feel Boniva is a poison, prescribed by doctors everyday. But each person has a right to try what they feel will alleviate their problem, and Spitfire asked the question on this post and it should be addressed. I am done with giving her the information she needs and moving on, hope you do the same. Have a great day!
Hi Spitfire2, after speaking with my neighbor, she advised she has suffered severe migraines which required her to be in total darkness for days at a time, even hiding in the stock closet at work.
Her NEUROLOGIST gave her botox injections to treat the migraines. This treatment worked for her problem and she is now able to hold down a job and go months without hiding. She also suffers from MS and this was not a conflict with her other treatments.
