Thank you so much for your concern, and I promise, I don't say what I say to scare women. I just wish I would've known that telling my surgeon where to place my nipples was something I should even be concerned with, but I had no idea, I never dreamed of this happening. So apparently I would have to have another procedure to remove more tissue and skin to make the nipple appear to be more centered, but I don't think actually lowering the nipple is an option. It's just very frusterating to have done so much research and still come out on the other side feeling unhappy. But in all honesty, don't be scared, just research your surgeon and look at many of his/her before and after pictures as possible. Your back will feel so much better after and your shoulders wont be in pain either anymore. If you have any questions pleas let me know:)

Hi Karmel, definitely got a lift, the thing is (and this is one of those anatomy things based off of your own body) my breast naturally sit pretty low on my chest so it's probably hard to tell. With all reductions (unless you are doing a scarless liposuction reduction) there is a lift involved, that's one of the reasons insurance companies don't want to cover the procedure because they see it as cosmetic, but it's absolutely not a cosmetic thing (well not completely) as for my scars, I definitely have scars, I had the anchor incisions (under the crease, around the nipple and a vertical scar from nipple to crease). I massage my scars daily, one to flatten them and two because they feel irritated and itchy sometimes. I hope this helps:) ask whatever you like.

Hi Sassycharly! Thank you so much for your kind words, I really and truly appreciate that. So glad your surgery is over and you're healing, that's a good place to be. Yes, the scabs and stitches will all work themselves out, it's pretty amazing how our body heals. Thank you again, I really appreciate it:)
