Hello... It has been a while since I checking in and I don't know if any of you are still posting or following this thread... but i wanted to check in an update my progress and see if any of you are having follow up procedures done on your TT area. I am going in for a "dog Ear" procedure and some more lipo on my flanks on June 7th. My scar is realing nicely, but my sides are pretty uneven and kinda lumpy on my sides. The dod said this could be corrected with an in office procedure that will take maybe an hour where they will numb my sides and my nerves with some Valium forst... then do some more lipo on my sides and hips.... I am nervous and excited.. as I have come this far, but its not all done. Has any one else done this after their surgery? My scar is quite a bit higher on one side and comes up out of my jeans and swim suit... He said he could fix that too... I am looking to know how other people's follow up procedures have gone. The doc said his time is not charged for, but I need to pay for the "tray fee" which is 325$ I am thinking of also having his lipo my chin at the same time as That will only be 400$ and since I am already there for the hips... why not! Any advice or suggestions? Thanks and I hope you are all doing well and healed up!.
Well, I am almost 5 months out and still pretty sore! I have been skiing regularly about 3 days a week and feel pretty good. Its weird to feel my core so tight! But at the end of the day after about 3 hours of skiing I am SORE! I got the bright idea to go snowboarding the other day. OUCH my stomach was so sore after I was worried ! I had a hard time turning around or getting myself up from the snow with out help. (There was a lot of snow) My husband was very helpful but my friends who I was with, who don't know about the surgery couldn't figure out what was wrong with me. I wont do that again unless its a sunny day and I am only on the groomers. Over all, I am happy, I would do it again in a heart beat. I am going back in a month to get his opinion about my sides being uneven and maybe a lipo revision near the scar where its a bit bumpy. But I went shopping and got some new pants and shirts that are not all stretched out and I feel great! Hope all of you are happy too!
Im glad you posted! Im glad too that you will be free to be yourself and open up to a more loving and compassionate relationship. No offense, but that man you are married to sounds like a real ASS! never settle for that and don't pity your self that the relationship did not work out. You have your kids and now your DR repaired... you will come through this... you will have a better life. Be kind to your self and if needed get some professional help/ therapy but remember.... it is always darkest before the dawn, and soon you will see a glorious new sunrise! Take care...
Hey... I'm 3 months out too and feel pretty good! I'm active like biking and hiking and pretty normal stuff. I am tight down the middle too but it does not hurt. However my incision line bugs me sometimes. It itches and every now and then just is annoying. I still feel stretching by my breast bone when I stretch , especially in the am. But it is ok. I hope you are happy! My Dr said with time the MR will just get tighter, not weaker, so I bet you are fine to do what ever you want... Good luck!
Hi... nije job on taking care of your self! You will be so glad that you did this for your self! I am 3 months Post now and STOKED every time I get dressed or undressed..... The recovery takes some time, give yourself as much as you need to heal... the results are well worth it! Enjoy!!!!!
