I read these posts for weeks before I decided to go for it. The reason I did is that it appeared as thought most of the people who had problems did not have light skin, which I do have. I have just finished my 4th treatment. Yes I did get brown marks and my face that evening would always feel like it was burned. But the burning went away within a couple of hours and the brown marks would dissappear within the week and weren't bad enough I couldn't suck it up and go to work. I did use a spa, but made sure they had an RN on site and the person doing it had worked for plastic surgeons before and had been using laser for a while. She also "worked into" the treatments. Didn't hit me hard right off the bat. Skin type and experience...I believe that's the key. And yes, I love the results! Had someone ask me the other day if I'd had a mini face lift!
