    guineapig - I would like to know your situation. What part of your face did you have the injections done? Was the doctor who performed the injections, knowledgeable of the product and was he experienced in this procedure? Did he give or show you a video, or any literature about Sculptra before you had it done? With all the negative reviewers on this site (I am NOT one of them) why did you choose to have this done?

    I am so happy to see a positive comment on Sculptra! I, too, have had 3 injections and had no discomfort and followed the aftercare instructions each time. I also took Arnica for all three injections and had little or no bruising. It's been almost 6 mos. since my last treatment and I am happy with the results. I cannot believe all the negative comments here. I have answered quite a few but most people just get angry with me! Since it's been a few years for you, could you tell me if you are still happy with the results and have you had any touchups since 2008?

    I understand what you are saying, but what you don't know is a lot of the positive experiences are never published. I have found that most people do not go on sites like these and say good things. The bad always seem to out number the good. I used to live in Southern Calif. and it was the plastic surgeon there that recommended I have this done (even though I live in another state, now). He has done MANY of these procedures (it's SoCal, afterall) and they ALL loved it. By the way, I am not a rep for the company. I am retired and 65 yrs. old!

    Sculptra should not be used around around the eye area.

    I am sorry this happened even though you did massage. You did not say where you received the injections. I hope you had it done in the areas that are approved for the product. I also wonder if the doctor that performed the injections used the product properly. There are others here that have had it done in the eye area and it should NEVER be used there!.
