Williamston, I feel the same as you. I am also 3 weeks out today and my doc says swelling is looking good but I'm still can't fit in my pants. I have moved to a low sodium diet and have started walking. I'm 7 pounds less than I was when I went into surgery and like I said my pants don't fit either. The pants will fit soon when the swelling goes down! Cheers to a flat belly!

I had my surgery on the 16th as well and went back last week for 2 days. I was worried also but found it nice to be among the active again. I actually thinked it helped me feel better! I can't get my pants buttoned due to swelling so I am sticking to dresses.

He used disolvable stiches inside my belly. I will have to have just a few taken out of my belly button. My scar is flat and very narrow. My surgeon did a great job. I have seen some real terrible ones. You can drive yourself nuts on all the websites looking at scars!

Had my TT on 12/16. Just got my first drain out today and hoping to get 2nd one out friday if I can just stay still for 2 more days. Too easy to get up and try to get stuff done at home. Using tylenol in the day and vicodin at night to sleep. Also using a heating pad. I alternate it from my abdomen to my back. Cant believe it has already been 5 days. Feeling so much better!!

Hi there! I am new also! My surgery is December 16th and the countdown is on! I lost 80lbs 6 years ago but my stomach never recovered. I did all the work but never got to reap the rewards of a flat stomach. I am working out twice a day in anticipation of the surgery. I want to be in the best shape possible for the big day as I am hoping being in great shape will help with the recovery time. I don't sit still very well so the the idea of two weeks on my couch is depressing to think about. Looking forward to hearing everyones results as a number of your have your surgery just days before mine!
