HI Brooksie! You look awesome. I also am 5'4 and started around 178 and still remain there today even after 9 lbs removed. Go figure! I am generally very happy with the results but it seems that are experience is somewhat similar. I also wake up flat and seem bloated around mid-day. I am also 4 mnths PO. It seems that the last month that the bloating has gotten worse. I look more poochy these last few weeks then the very beginning. I am working out 4-5 days a weeks (running and bootcamp) so I'm wondering if it's a relaxing of the ab muscles. I hate to think that this is the best it will get eventhough I know it's so much better than before. I also noticed you are having some darkening around the belly button. Interestingly enough, the last day or so my belly button has been much more sore than ever before. It's bearable for sure but more tender. Wondering if the relaxed ab muscles are pushing on it. It also looks much redder to me. My incision is a bit sore too. Weird how we think we are done healing and we are not!! Guess its a good lesson. Keep in touch. I think it's time for me to reconnect with some of my fellow tt'rs that understand our struggles. Take care!!
Seems like forever since we last chatted. I haven't been on the site for a long time. I relate to your story. I think I have gained a few pounds but it looks alot more noticeable after the tummy tuck. I was sooo pleased with the flat tummy and now it seems like every night I go to bed , the bloat seems worse than the first couple months. It drives me nuts. The morning I'm still pretty flat but by night, not so much. I am so tired of being obsessed with the mirror. It drives me crazy. Do you notice a flat tummy and more bloat at night? I'm wondering if some of the initial tightness relaxes after a few months or if it really is the couple lbs. Let's get this weight off!! However, you have nothing to lose compared to me :). I really need to lose about 30 lbs. Love to hear more from you.
Kksmom, your husband is right , you need to stay away from the botched surgeries on line. I forbid myself from reading any reviews till a week after my surgery. I had a tendency to get stuck on certain conditions or problems and then obsessed over it. For my own mental health , I couldn't read even the good stuff because I was never sure when I would stumble across something negative. Everyone's experience is unique just like childbirth. As far as the gaping holes, those are extreme cases and not to be viewed beforehand in my opinion. Thousand of tts are done without those complications. Just know that in one week you will be on the other side of the surgery. Personally it wasn't that bad and I'm about 3 months out. Bella, miss talking like the old days :). Glad you are well. No more of our anxiety issues..yea!!!
Hey nicks mom, how goes things on your end?? I know it's been a long haul for you and hope you have finally turned a corner. Btw, your pics look great! I do think I may have put on a couple pounds which is really annoyed. Back to strict clean eating ! I get so obsessed at looking at my pics right after surgery and now 7 weeks po. I got on the scale last week and still no loss even after having 9 pounds surgically removed lol. I'm getting rid of that stupid scale!! Went back to boot camp last week and did some core exercises which now I realize was a mistake. I knew I wasn't supposed to do crunches etc bit thought I could do planks , etc. wrong! I am now still sore almost a week later. I'm sticking to my squats, arms etc. I wish I loved working out but just don't! Let me know how you are!
