I have not commented on many stories, but Grandma all that bruising paid off - you look fabulous!!!
Not sure I could have gone through all that & more, but last year at 60 I had uppers/lowers/full face and neck done. I could not believe how I bruised around the eyes but did NOT on the neck. I had fat transfers which a lot of folks here have had problems with. I got lucky and had a great experience, but back to you - Amazing and Gorgeous! Good for you!
You are a pro Eiileen- I did not even see my husband the first week! I was wrong as he reminded me; I am 3 weeks and finally feel fab. with the swelling gone as I did have fat transfers which have worked out, but require attention, - massage, warm cloths, etc. nothing too bad...all is well as of now..
So glad Dr. Godin was a positive experience; I knew his (ex) wife from class and did not want to be involved, but had heard nothing but positives..good for you!!!!! I hope we can get together one day. We can PM later; but so glad to hear we have a Richmond star in PS!
Meanwhile, get some rest and heal quickly!
Oh my, Eileen, I live only a mile from Dr.Goden and have used his facial treatment side of the practice for a peel..(Anne, she is great) but if i had known you'd be so close!
Glad it all worked out for you! Can't wait to see the upcoming weeks..
I am at 3.5 weeks out with my guy in Va Beach..have to leave town sometimes you know!
Do you live here? We need to compare stories, LOL I had twilight and chatted too...
Hi Pugmomof2, I am 2 weeks postop (do not know how to dowload just yet the pics!) and had fl, bleph upper and lower; necklift and fat transfers....Nothing Hurt; but there is a lot of swelling and bruising which is uncomfortable but not painful. Be careful to choose the most competent doc; get lots of rec's and talk to not only him but his staff; they are a key component to aftercare and give you tips etc. on how it will all emerge.
I have a tendency to headaches and had NONE- considering all the stitches in my head I thought that was a small miracle! I also made sure I talked directly to the anesthesiologist (sp?) and to talk about different options and he was wonderful to me also. Communication is so key; do not let anyone scare you but realize it is not easy - just uncomfortable - with swelling and bruising.
Good luck. Hope you have a positive experience but remember you get what you pay for.
I'd do it again, but probably hide out somewhere other than my home with a girlfriend to talk to and laugh with!
Your l0 day pic looks great - I go in on Sept. 6 for a neck, face, lower and upper eyes with fat transfer. a Bit Anxious but finding this site is great to read everyone's recommendations re: bruising, etc.
Did not know about pineapple! My doc gives out a list of foods to eat and foods to avoid for surgery. A friend followed it and had hardly any bruising.
