I find it fascinating that so many of the physician comments advise that we 'trust' our surgeon meanwhile there are so many posts by patients whose trust has turned to disappointment, expense & pain because they didn't ask enough questions or were made to feel uncomfortable because they felt a need to understand the particular procedure more clearly. How about just answering our questions and spending sufficient time with the patient explaining how & what you are doing for all the money you are charging? This is not after all an act of charity it is a service and I don't think anyone wants to pay for a service based on trust but rather on knowledge and clarity of what they are paying for. I would not even buy a coffee table without knowing what it was made of!
