I do not regret my surgery one bit. I am so happy with my results. I was really expecting the worse regarding pain but it wasn't nearly as bad as I anticipated. I'm sure everyone has different thresholds for pain but with the pain medication it was very manageable. I didn't want to have only one surgery and regret not doing it all at once. One time to go under was a better option. I have the lollipop scars on my breast.

Thank you! I apologize for not posting, but I've been so busy. I promise I will post some new pics for my 6 month post op.
  • Posted to Ten weeks - when does the numb feeling go away? on 13 Jan 2012

I'm almost 5 months post op and I still have numbness. From the paperwork my doctor gave me it said you could have numbness for up to a year and the possibility that feeling might not come back in certain areas. That is pretty normal for any type of open surgery. My mom still has no feeling around her gallbladder scar from 20 years ago.

Yes, unfortunately. I still have the swelling above the belly button. I'm great below the belly button. Flat as can be. However, I have switched back to wearing part of my binder during the day to help with the swelling up top. I cut my binder in half so I'm only using one panel. It's helped.
