Okay, I'm going back for my revision on Thursday! I am more scared this time, because I'm doing it under a local instead of general anesthesia :( Has anyone had it done under a local? I would prefer the general, but although the revision is free, to go under again would cost $800, which I can't afford. So instead I'm taking Valium and hoping that I feel out of it enough to not realize what's going on.
I did that because it wasn't giving me the desired result. It made me look like a duck. It was pulling my lip out. Also, I had to have it out before the lip lift, because the otherwise my doctor would not have known where my lip naturally fell, so whatever he did would be affected as the filler was naturally absorbed over time. Meaning that my lip lift would fall over time. Does that make sense?
How did everybody else do with the swelling? I just had mine done 12 days ago, and I feel like the swelling is 99% gone. Is that possible? I'm asking because I'm hoping it's not gone, because I feel like my lip is settling lower than I thought it would, and the doctor said that most people tighten upwards, not fall downwards, as the swelling goes down. Does that make sense? Not sure if I'm explaining myself well! I guess I'm afraid that my doctor was too conservative (he has a reputation for that), and that this is it, the final "product."
Hi, having a bad morning :( It still looks the same as day 3, and what I really worried about are the corners of my mouth. I got a corner lift as well, but my mouth is downturned, way worse than before I even got this done. I noticed that in your earlier swelling, yours were downturned the very slightest bit, but not like mine. Did you feel like you looked like you were frowning for the first few weeks, and then it got better? Definitely not feeling great.
Thanks. I looked at your photos, you look incredible. And you're right, what a difference 4 weeks make. I guess I should just be patient! I'm going to wait a while before I post any more photos, since I don't think there will be much noticeable difference over the next week or so. I'm so glad how great yours turned out! You must be really happy :)
