Hi Cutiepie, when is your surgery? You are in wonderful hands with Dr. Shell, he and his staff are the best around, period. He is so wonderful and caring and is always available to you. Teresa is awesome also!!! I hope all is well and you choose Dr. Shell because you won't be sorry one minute.
Yeah, I imagine I'll be ready by 11 weeks too, by then my incisions should be healed completely. I an curious to know what he will say or do, keep me posted! Take care.
Hey Cotton! Sounds like you're feeling better. I am feeling better and swelling finally starting to go down but I'm like you, there's still alot of it. My incisions are getting much better. I am using this silverlon dressing Dr gave me. It's been great, finally healing. I didn't have as hard a time as you did, I nvever developed any kind of infection. I haven't even discussed my breast with Dr because I'm trying to focus on healing my wounds and the draining. I have started drinking like 8 bottles of water each day and cut out my diet cola's and this has really helped the swelling. I wonder what we will do about my breast being uneven. I'm really not sure what we will do. I wish I would have gotten bigger implants but I know I would have to pay for this and I just can't do that right now. I have no idea how we will handle the uneven breasts without having to go back under which would mean I would probably have to pay for the facility and anesthesia and I don't want to have to do that. Oh well, I guess we'll worry about that later but I do feel like he will do whatever he can to make it right. So are you visiting you're brother?
