Hi, I wanted to share my experience with you and what I know my family and friends have done... Even if your doctor tells you that you are good to take the compression garment off DON'T do it yet (leave it on for at least 2-3mnths)... If you dont feel like the compression garment is too tight on you then you need to change it to a smaller size.. Right now your body is healing up and you could shape it the way you want to because your skin is not completely tight yet.. So if you wear the compression garment as much as you can take it and as tight as possible your body will compress more.. Trust me... Also try to start with the massages they really help with the swelling... I didnt mention this on my review but im 5"0 very small and was before my procedure 163lbs (way too much for my hight..) I wasn't sure this procedure could help me look better, I was very depressed with myself.. But I was told by friends and family that have done the same procedure that the main key to see better and faster results was getting the massages done as soon and as much as I can afford them... And I have been doing the massages since day 5 3times a week and I know thats what had help me the most.. Im from south america and over there they start with the massages on day 3 ( too painfull, too soon for me ) is going to be a month since I had my surgery, I went to see my Dr yesterday and he was amazed on my swelling is almost gone.. He even said I could take the garment off during the day (which im Not going to do).. I know it seems like a long time to wait but the final results could take up to 6months.. Now you should look little better every week... Be patient... Best wishes for you and everyone...
Hi, I went to my doctor today and he said I am doing great and im not swollen at all on my tummy and arms only on one thigh just a little.. Now he says its due to the massages they really help... So start as soon as you can with the massages... If you can afford it do it 3 times a weeks... My doctor gave the best news ever he said im ready to do anything, now he did mention to use a lot of sunscreen.. Until im 2months at least to be save and avoid any stain on my skin...
hi, i would advise you to ask your doctor if he thinks you can start with the ultrasounds, i was recommended to start with the regular ones because my skin got irritated on my legs due to the laser. i have been getting the regular massages 3 times a week for 3weeks now and im gonna start the ultrasound massages next week.. i'll let you know how that goes.. i'm hoping they are not as painful as the regular ones.. :) Good luck with everything!
Hi, i tried the Arnica gel for 5days and i really didnt not see any difference on my bruises and swelling, the massage lady recommended the calendula lotion maybe you could find it online it really feels refreshing at least on my inner thighs where i had a burning feeling every time i touch them, im hand washing and hang drying my compression garment. I wanted to start doing some exercise like walking but i was recommended by my massage lady not to do so because of the heat in south florida she said it will only make my swelling worse.
