I have been following your TT review - I was part of the Dec group. I came out and read your Arm Lift review - it is labeled with a Not Worth it - based on all your comments that surprised me. Would you do it again?
How long was your recovery time - out of work, etc? Our stories are very similar and I am really considering the surgery. I went from a 20-22 to a size 8 - I am sure you get the picture. Thanks for sharing your experience.
It's been a while since I posted. Glad to see some of you are still posting too. Hope you are doing well. I have good days for swelling and then bad days. I am very pleased with my overall results. I have a large lump of scar tissue that is under where one of my drains was - my Dr said it should go away but if it doesn't, in June she will open my incision and remove it. It is about as big as a quarter in diameter - hard to tell how deep it goes.
I still sleep in my binder on days I feelt swollen and I love my Lipo in A Box panties then offer great support with no bulk.
Tinamati, I have come to realize that the swelling is better some days than others. Funny thing though, I can't pin point what causes good vs bad. Today I did my first kettle bell class since surgery and I don't feel like I am swelling as much - but also we had a health fair today with 5 minute chair massage. I told her about my TT and she worked on my lower back area. She had a TT 2 yrs ago and told me that the lower back area can give a lot of people trouble due to the pulling from the back area around to the front and the stretching. I feel much looser tonight, after 5 minutes of massage. I was thinking about going for a lymphatic massage - I think any massage will help.
She recommended massaging the scar area often to help keep the scar tissue underneath from building up. Sounds like a good idea to me.
