hi everyone! Sorry i haven't responded or left pictures lately. I will do so sometime this week so that you guys can get a feel for the difference. For now i will post my before and after circumferential measurements:
Hopefully with these measurements it'll give you a sense of what my before and after looks like.
I am actually contemplating on having a touch up because i am such a perfectionist and i believe that i can improve them a bit more. I've also been working out like crazy so much that ive become addicted to the gym (like 1.5-2 hours a day) so maybe that has some effect as well. In any case i think he did an amazing job and it was well worth the trip. I wouldn't mind taking another trip again. The pain wasn't bad AT ALL and i was back to running and working out within 2 months. I stopped swelling after about 3 months. I still have some scars but i've been using mederma and i also recently got a tan so they are less noticeable.
Hope this helps guys! Let me know if you have any other questions or concerns. Also be sure to contact Dr. Kerr he's an awesome Surgeon!
The flight home wasn't bad at all. I had the surgery on Wednesday and Thursday and stayed at Boise until Tuesday. Honestly, I could've left that following saturday or sunday if i really wanted to. The flight home wasn't so bad. I had a layover at denver and the hardest part for me was from there to Boston since it was nearly a 4 hour flight and i had the middle seat. I sat next to a pregnant lady so I sat there the entire flight because i didnt want to keep asking her to get up :/
As far as the follow up appointments, they do a 2 day post op, 2 week, and a 2 month. I did the 2 day post op at the clinic the morning before i left, and my 2 week was last week. But the nurses contact you via email every now and then asking how you're doing. And you are always free to call or email them any time when you have questions :) If you have any other questions just send me a private message and we can chat there of via phone :)
