Hi girls! Well, I'm all paid up - had my pre-op last Friday! One more week and I'll be saying goodbye to all my tummy rolls! I can't wait! Just getting all my stuff ready right now. It's almost weird to think that in must one week, I'll actually have a flat stomach! **as I sit here and look down on the huge belly roll** Almost seems surreal...like it's a dream and it really won't be happening.
I just found your story and wanted to congratulate you on your results! You look amazing and I consider you my 'twin'. So it makes me very excited on my outcome. I am 5'1 and 112 lbs right now...which is a bit heavier than I'm used to. I'm usually around 108-110. So going to get down a few more lbs before my TT which is scheduled for end of August. Anyway, thanks so much for sharing your story and your pics. I'm even more excited now that I saw your results!
Thanks Kimmers! Yeah I get actual ab work (ie: core, crunches, etc) shouldn't be done until later. In fact, my PS doesn't recommend doing much ab work at all. Course he's the same with chest exercises (after a BA).
But I was thinking more like just using them in general...like to sit up, bend over, reach stuff, stretch, etc. Are you supposed to avoid using your muscles all together or gently use them? I see some women talking about using upper body strength for most things in the first week or so and was just curious as to when you actually start engaging your abs muscles to help you with those daily tasks?
