I didn't say that men aren't visually stimulated by large breasts; only that they don't prefer them over small or medium sized breasts. Marketers understand the power of women's breasts on men.

Better than Wikipedia is a book called Cleavage: Technology, Controversy, and the Ironies of the Mad Made Breast, by Nora Jacobson. While the first US silicone implant may have been introduced in the early 1960s, it's clear that other countries (most notably Japan) were experimenting with both silicone injections and implants. Even Jacobson found the research difficult to pinpoint to dates, given the record keeping at the time.
