I smiled when I saw you updated your profile. I was so worried about you(not that I had a reason to be),however I knew how scared you were. Anyhow, under two hours; that rocks! I was told I was in the operating room well over four hours. Plus my doc has his patients to stay over night. fyi- Salt will make you swell more so try to eat things low in sodium. You want to try to eat stuff thats high in iron;strawberries has work for me. Also try to take small walks around the house that last not more than 5-8 min once an hour. I told if you lay around to much you can get blood clots in your legs which can spread to your heart and be very dangers. If he give you the TED HOSE besure to keep them on for the next few days, as these can help in preventing the blood clots. Sorry for sounding like your doc but these things has work for me. (9days PO).

My kids are 12,3,and 1. Before the surgery I was searching this site to see if there was anyone else that was scared for the same reasons, however I found that there was alot reasons, but not to many fears the same as ours. Thats why I had to join to tell you it will be alright and to not worry your self about that. Yes, it easy for me to say now,but please think about other things. There was two things that got me to show up the day of my surgery
    1. my three then two year old had to have surgery which also required him to be put to sleep, and I had no problem with it I just wanted him fixed. He went through the same steps as I went through and soon you and he woke up just as they said he will and didn't have a clue as to what had happend just as I did.

    2. next I kept thinking about all of the women on here that have already had the tt done and logged back in to give up dates on how things went.

So my thinking was how can I let my baby do something that I'm afraid of (mommy 101) and plus there are tons of women who has already went through the same procedure and logged back in to tell, so I knew I would be alright and so will you.

Also I know your husband will come around, the only thing that's kind of freaking mine out are the two drains coming out of my va j j.

Please if you have any other questions I will be glad to answer them in detail if you want. Your day is Wed right?

I would like to take you step by step once I got to the sergery center, which was a cake walk, but my husband seems to think that it will make you worry more, as he feels this site did for me, however I want you to know we are making more of it and once it's over you will be like "up i put myself through all of this stress for nothing".

Anyhow you are in my prayers!

Hello, I have been on this site for a while and never posted my concerns nor comments, and I'm now six days post op. For me my biggest fear was not waking up, and second complications during surgery,so I had to respond to you just to say it will be ok. The doctor said to me I going to start a med in your IV, next they were saying LaTia its time to wake up you have been in the recovery room for 45mins and everything went well. Oh yeah, Arnica Montana seems to be working for me so try Amazon... I went there to read reviews on it. Everything will be ok. Luck is already with you!
