It took forever! At least it seemed like it....8-10 weeks at least. I was very red and very swollen and the cream helped with that. My chest is not red now, but I do have some scarring noted on the chest.

Hi Ada38, Hang in there, I know it is tough and I definitely still had redness and brown too. I used the combination hydroquinolone which helps with the brownness and the hydrocortisone helps reduce the redness, I can't remember the strength of the hydrocortisone, but OTC is 1% and does calm it some. I now have some scarring left in this area as the chest is very difficult to treat. during the routine care, I used the Aquafor as well as the GoldBond Ultimate healing cream, which I really liked also. Hope it goes well for you. skingirl!

    Hi, there,
thanks for your comments. Yes, I would do this procedure again with Dr. White. I have had good results and am very pleased with the diminished fine lines & tightening of my skin. I probably will consider a facelift in the future, but this has definitely given me results that have helped stave it off. It took a while to heal as you can see from my pics, so be prepared & know what you are getting into as I have friends who were appalled by the after pics. Plan your time and committ to the aftercare as that part is major. I have had botox once since the laser in Nov. I appreciated Dr. White's care. He was very good with me. I love Toni Ryan, his nurse practitioner & have also used Dr. Gardner as well for my last botox. Good luck!

    Hi RenataSP

Yes, I am just over 8 weeks out from full face laser resurfacing and it was pretty traumatic. I still have 2 linear red marks on the left side of my face near my mouth where several passes were completed to eradicate some lines. However, the redness has improved tremendously on my forehead and cheeks, as I am able to finally feel like I can go out without using redness remedy & coverup.

I have excellent results under my eyes and the texture of my skin is so improved. I had to stop Renova as that was worsening the redness and I have learned it really matters what skin care you use after this procedure. Because basically, this is all new skin. Moisture, moisture, moisture is the key. I am using emu oil at night 2-3X/wk also.

Laser just requires a lot of recovery time depending on the depth of the treatment. Hang in there!

    Hi girls,
So sorry to hear that you are having issues, because I thought your pictures with makeup looked wonderful.

I wanted to share my skincare regimen that I think has made a world of difference with my post procedure results. I am using a pharmacist-developed system called SimplySkinRx which includes:
    1. a very mild foaming Cleanser (not abrasive at all)
    2. followed with "Restore" which is a clear serum type product with peptides and hyaluronate which encourages tightness and boosts moisture
    3. Prime day lotion-packed with antioxidants & retinol
    4. Refine night lotion- glycolic acid

    Learn more at http://www.simplyskinrx.com/Default.asp

Love this system! Added EltaMD sunscreen with bare minerals makeup and slowly but surely, my redness is improving.

    Hope this helps,
    Rhonda
