Hi everyone! I'm curious to know how many of you still swell. I swell a lot. I wake up nice and flat and by the end of the day I look like i swolled a small basketball. I hope everyone is well and recovering as expected =))

Hi July TT's! It's been a while since I updated. I finally went to my appt, after 3 weeks of waiting for my PS to get back from his vacation. He said the lump over my bb could be a few things but he doesn't know by just looking at it. I have to wait a couple of months till my swelling goes down, and if by then i still have a lump or it continues to hurt then he would have to do a sonogram to find out what going on. I ordered my stage 2 compression garment and bought safeguard gel to put on my scar. I'm very swollen after just a few hours of being awake until I go to bed =( i really hope this swelling goes away and all these lumps and bumps disappear or smooth out. I hope you are all well. =)) Gladys

Hi July TTer, haven't been on here in a while. It's hard for me to think let alone write about my experience. I'm not happy with the way my belly looks with out clothes. Yes, it's flat...I no longer have the pop belly. I have bumps all over, don't know why. I have this lump over my belly button that the Dr on call says it may be a pop stitch getting infected or it could be that around the stitch there could be tissue forming. It hurts to the touch. It looks odd. My belly botton is off centered. I would say about half and inch to much to the right. I know that I have scoliosis but if I go to correct my belly, why would you think that I would want my belly button off centered. I would think that he would try to center it. Now, I don't know if he could have. I haven't asked. Trying keep busy so I don't think of my belly. My doctor unfortunately is out of town for 3 weeks. He knows what he's done to my belly not the on call Dr. So, i have to wait till he returns. I have only see him twice after surgery and my belly has changed since then. I don't think I'm too swollen just, not even. Some parts of my belly are puffy some are not. I really don't even know what's swollen and what's not. Just an over all unpleasant feeling when I look in the mirror. Haven't had the guts to show hubby. Thanks for listening.

Hi Iteachtoo! I just got a call from the office manager at my PS office after I emailed her my concern. She said that yes it could have been a stitch but either way there is nothing he can do until i'm completely healed. =(( I asked her if the stitches can unravel and she said no. So that's good but darn I have the bulge about a finger over my belly button and it hurts to the touch. I hope we don't have pop stitches and that it's something else that our bodies can resolve itself. Happy recovering Iteachtoo!!
