Wow- thanks for the pics-there is a huge difference and you look great already! Imagine in 2 more months, it is supposed to get better and better. You had your surgery 10 days before mine and I appreciate your posts about your progress. So far I see a changes about every 2-3 days. Thanks for sharing your experience so far.
Thanks for the post- you look great already! It gives me more hope. I had upper/lower abs and obliques on June 25th. My doctor said -wait til I see it in a month-half way there now. I think you are looking great! Rome wasn't built in a day :)
Atoz- I just had my upper, lower abs and love handles done on June 25th here in NY. I definitely see the difference on myself but I also know it is going to be a long road to recover-I was warned about it all and read up a lot. I gained 30lbs after quitting smoking and was fed up with everyone asking if I was pregnant. It is day 10 and the swelling is better but my doctor won't even do any weighing or measuring until after a month. All the other women on here say that they did not lose yet either-I have shrunk some but no weight loss and my clothes fit better but still in fat clothes-it's OK just have patience it will happen. I admit it is uncomfortable and lumpy and I have the tingling and soreness-keep massaging it and it helps. I already hate the garment but will be able to be only wearing it 12hrs a day in another 2 days-yeah! Keep posting it helps-we all need the support from each other. Thanks to let me know I am not alone with this stuff and it will be worth it all! PS-my hubby wasn't up with the idea of laser lipo either-but it is my body and I have to be happy with it more than anyone else.
Hi Nay Bella- had my proceedure June 25th- it will be a week tomorrow. I am 47 and after enough people asking if I was pregnant-I made the call. The hardest part of it all is the soreness-can't move too fast otherwise it hurts more and I get really tired out. I see a difference and today the swelling went down noticeably. The bruises are going too. My love handle are gone, but everything else sinks to my belly by the end of the day and is giggly. Getting less and my doctor says it should be smoothed out in a month. The way I look at it - whats a few months of discomfort after dealing with all that fat and feeling pregnant for the past months? The outcome is going to be awesome! Good luck on the 15th- will be sending good positive thoughts your way.
Hey Gia! It sounds like you had a lot done. The arms and back may be a challenge. I found I have to look in the mirror to see where the cuts are to bandage. Hopefully your friend is coming over to help you with this everyday after you get to shower. One of the best parts of the day is to have the support garment off for a few hours. But it is good to get it back on because everything starts to swell and get mushy by then. I had my post-op with my doctor yesterday and he said all looks good-it is only 6 days today and he told me don't even pay attention to it all yet until a few weeks. Right away he asked about if I noticed swelling of my ankles and elswhere- which I have- it is the retention from the saline solution they use. Your stomach is upset from all the pills and stuff in your system and keep eating something -the less "heartburn" feeling if you eat more to soak it up. I feel bad that you had the chills during your proceedure, I was warned of it but OK during. Keep recooperating and make sure you sleep when you need to. It is harder to get around than I thought and I get fatigued really quick. Trying not to push myself too much too soon. I had moved around too much on day 3 and started dripping blood from a lower cut when I was out with a friend-not fun. Lots of rest is good.
