Permanent Hypopigmentation After Laser Treatment - Nashville, TN

I really like Dr. Gold's office. Did he do your injections, or was it a nurse? Do you have any pictures you would be willing to share?

My friend recently broke her nose (about 2 months ago) and it still looks really bad. She fell into a wooden countertop and it broke at the very top of her nose, right between her eyes. I could almost see the bone sticking out of the skin on one side. She has no insurance though, and she has always been told that there is nothing that can be done for a broken nose. Can you tell me if your nose was broken near the top, between the eyes, and how long between the break and your first surgery? I keep telling my friend that she needs to get something done NOW rather than letting her nose and the bone heal like it is now. Many thanks for your contribution to this page. Be really careful with the tattooing.. I tried that as well initially to cover the hypo scars and the lady went too dark, so I ended up with dark marks across my chest. Tattooing to match skin tone is very hard. I had really good progress with needling to repigment the scars on my chest. They are not totally gone, but much less noticeable now. Thank you Megan P! I'm trying to be hopeful... another thing I am trying is the new Palovia at home fractional laser around my eyes. I asked the doctor if it would dissolve the Restylane and he said the Palovia does not go deep enough, but I felt how deep he put the Restylane, and it was very superficial, like barely under the skin, so I have seen some improvement in the discoloration/bruise that was running down the tear trough and beyond. I am trying to give this doctor the benefit of the doubt because I really want this to look good and I want to post a good review, but at this point, I cannot do that in good conscious. My injection was on Sept. 28 and then a second to balance out left and right on Oct. 3 or 4, so this Sunday will be a FULL month, but I had really terrible bruising after the first injection, to the point it looked like a giant purple balloon under my eye... ewwww, so I'm trying to give plenty of time for all that to resolve as well. This site has been so wonderful. Being able to talk with other people who have had these procedures, and seeing that sometimes it does get worse before it gets better has been very encouraging!!
