They will give you vitamins the day before your surgery. I didn't feel gittery by taking them, but then again was feeling all sorts of things to e able to tell, lol. But seriously the ones they gave me had a label the read all natural. It's only a few in the bottle because you'll take them the day before and a few days after. My bruising wasn't as bad as I've seen with other girls, but I did have it. As a matter fact I'll post a picture that I did take of that for you to see. Hope it helps.
I know, right?!?! I have two more weeks and three days to go! I've emailed Ruben about four times in the last twenty four hours...I know he's probably wondering what is going on with me. Just nerves, I guess. Oh, well, I hope you are continuing to get better. I'll check in with you later this week to give you an update.
I was planning to send you a message (I forgot to let you know how things went Monday, but my results were fine...YEA!) when I saw that you updated your status profile. I'll just say two things here and still send you a message: 1) your results look great, no, amazing and 2) stay focused on ALL things positive.
@ bosslady23, don't make that offer because I definitely have questions, but I don't want to drive anyone crazy. Everytime I read information on someone's experience I come up with more questions. And the main thing is people keep saying be prepared for the pain, but I don't think that I can mentally prepare for it, so I'm not going to stress about it. I have/am developing a pre-surgery routine and add to it constantly. I make pay my deposit tomorrow, I'll be getting a packet of information soon and I'm sure there will be more prep work. Part of what I'm doing it including more exercise in my routine and "listening" to my body more. I'm paying more attention to when I'm full and I have been stopping meals. It's hard because we are conditioned to eat all our food and in this economy no one wants to throw food away. I'm also going to do things like eat on smaller plates. Not have much soda and juice. I've been taking digestion aids. I'm struggling to drink more water, but I gotta push through that. I am working to limit bread, dairy, pasta, rice, etc. I do well with that at home, but having food out isn't as easy...and I'm working on limiting that too! Which brings me to share one last thing that I am working on and that's cooking and taking lunch to work.
I looked at your "page" and you look wonderful! I admire your results.
One thing I've been doing that many BBLers many not need to do is also check out the stories of those in the TT (tummy tuck) world. Since that's going to be one of my procedures, I figured I'd better get some of their perspectives.
Any-who, let me know how to reach you because I'd love to hear your journey!
@bosslady23, yes, you know exactly my plight (so sad)! EIGHT consults? My goodness! Have you had the procedure done else where (yet)? If so where did you go and what doctor? Or are you considering Dr. Salama? If so, when do you plan to schedule? I'm sure if I just click on your name I'll find the answers to my questions. If they are on your "page" then disregard them here :)
