My Dr is double board but what I didn't know is that he is ready to retire and I kick myself everyday for not listening to the schedule lady that had made a comment about the other Dr being better and that Dr Mixture (my Dr) was fast and been doing it a long time and wasn't a perfectionist any more. I do want to know about the derma fillers for your dents in your legs it might really work (couldn't hurt)
Uggggh... I wrote this long detailed message and my battery died on my phone and erased it all! :(
I looked at your pictures and your dents look so familure... I'm so sorry I completely feel your pain and understand your frustration. I wouldn't do the tummy tuck if I were you. The dents are bad but a scar would be worse plus there is no garenty it will even work. I sure the hell ain't doin it. I have no faith in my Dr. I don't even want to go for the fix now :( I didn't understand the concept anyway. Why can't they get the fat from around the dents to make it even without having to fill it back up I don't see how it can work. Can't they do a melt without the suction so the fat around will go down but not aggressively. Why is there even enough fat left on me to transfer it in the first place didn't I pay to get it removed! Now they wanna do checks and balance. Let's take some of the left over fat we didn't get in the first place and put it back in the only area we removed all the possible fat from. O_o you should ask your doc about using derma fillers to even yours out like restiline or something (your Dr seems like he wants to fix his mistake mine acts like I'm insulting his best work) the restiline might work because its immediate yours (dr) might try it for free. mine will charge if he will even do it. But if you can ask and see if that's an option let me know if it is or if it works. Fingers crossed
I honestly would not do it again if I had the choice. I honestly think if your only moderately unhappy with your shape you should take the money and hire a fitness coach instead of lipo; because something they don't tell you in the office is that your expected to wait 6 to 9 mths to see your results from the procedure so its not a quick fix or short cut. If your very over weight and unhappy and you've tried everything possible and the trainer thing dosen't work then by all means go for it! But another thing they didn't tell me was the high risk of denting, rippling, sagging, discoloration and disfigurment. If you don't care about what you look like naked or in a bathing suit and just want your clothes to look nicer then go ahead with the lipo. For me the trade off wasn't worth it and had I been aware of all the possible negatives I WOULD NOT HAVE DONE IT! it was not worth it to me at all. I don't want to discourage anyone but its important to see the bad side of it instead of hearing someone sit across from you glorifying it and telling you everything u want to hear. They are at the end of the day "salesman"
My issue is the fact my stomach is now deformed my arms still have bruises and are loose and numb 6 months later and I hardly any improvement. Originally I was told 2weeks for results then it was 3mths then 6 now they tell me 9. If I wanted go 9 mths to see anything I could have gotten a trainer and been in way better shape without scars dents divits and nerve damage. I have to workout to see any improvement from this surgery anyway, I could have saved the 5grand I spent on the original procedure and got a trainer to kick my ass with that money and saved myself all these negative side effects
