Very Painful but So Worth It - Scottsdale, AZ

It took a lot longer than two weeks. Around 4 to 6 weeks it softened and was not as obvious. I was in so much pain still at two weeks. I remember trying on a pair of jeans and my waist killing from the waistband of the jeans. I couldn't even button them.

I go for my 3 month follow-up tomorrow. I'll have an update then. But, yeah, two weeks is not long enough. I remember being fine the first couple of days, then ballooning up with the swelling and fluid and those weird hard knots on my tummy.

Like they said to me: Your body will take a long time to heal, it's traumatic and things have to get back to where they were over time. The swelling will still be there until 5 or 6 months.

Hang in there - you'll love it! I do - but I already have area's I want re-done and a couple of new areas too. I hope this surgery doesn't become addictive.

Yeah, they were really hard lumps and hurt like you-know-what. I'm still sore a little, mostly when I get up in the morning, but it is definitely not as bad as it was. What did you have done and when?

Yes. I had a lot of hard lumps right after. They are still there but not as bad as they were. The doctor said it takes 5 - 6 months to heal completely. So we'll see in a couple of more months how much it all goes away. :) I'm on month 3.

Thank you! I feel great! I have to really watch it now because of how any weight gained will redistribute somewhere else where the fat was not sucked out. That's all I need now is a huge butt! :)
