Marianne, what you said is exactly I had felt. what have I done, I'd permanently ruined my face, I could be much prettier than post surgery, if this will be permanent like cat lady-- my life is done--sort of things. But today, post-op day 11, I saw silver lining. Before, even my nose was buried by swolleness and looked like elephant-man(animal) bw/eyes. But today my elephantman-like-face disappeared and is getting closer to my face while it is of course not great yet. I still see bruises, so it means I could have room to get better. Theoritically everyone is supposed to get healed, but what if I was exception--and end up with cat woman/unnatural look? what if my surgery didn't go like I was expecting? But today I think I finally went through that doubtful period. Thank you so much, Marianne.

Scottsdale1247, I just woke up and looked at the mirror--and made me nervous if I could be prettier than pre-op again. Today is post-op 11 days. I went back to your picture again and I am not even reached to post-op 13. You are helping people who go through this. excatly as you quoted. I understand theoritically it would NOT dramatically improved after one sleep, but this is hard. But my friend, I will keep you posted.
