I wouldn't say it is the docs fault - as it was even when she got it done.. We cannot blame the doctors for everything - They cannot predict everything.. Yes a touch up might have fixed the problem! Luckily it is not permanent !
I hope you found a solution and your lips look fab now Angeles!
Hi Bangeline,
What a nightmare you have been through!! I don't think I could have made it if I were you. It must have taken so much strength to face family and friends afterwards, let alone going out in public :(
I am so glad to hear you found a good doctor to help - I have gone through something similar (not at all as horrible as your experience) and I almost committed suicide, I turned in sick for a month and isolated myself completely just crying everyday for hours.
I can't even imagine what I would have done in your situation! I would probably have slapped Michelle so hard and sued her ass afterwards!
Anyway, did you get your tip refined yet? I hope you absence mean you finally have a nose you can live with, and that you have moved on from this hellish nightmare!
All the best,
Mia
Hi you brave woman,
I am sorry you had such a traumatic experience! I myself have had a hard time coping and understand what you are going through! It looks like your nose went down a lot since cast removal, and it honestly looks a lot better :) and I think it is important you know that you look beautiful with either nose - However I do understand why you would want to do a revision, your nose looks alright but a little off. I read that many surgeons aren't experienced with african american/asian noses so if you decide on a revision I would suggest you check out if they have experience in that area. To me it looks like your surgeon did a standard nosejob for a western type nose and that will never work for a flat and wide nose.
I hope you get the nose of your dreams, and just remember you still look stunning.
I am sorry to hear that, I hope yours better with time.
My nose does look a lot better now, I don't mind how it looks in everyday life anymore - Every morning I push it a little in the left side to make it more symmetrical (My surgeon told me it was ok, and I know it sounds weird but it works) however it still does look a little weird on pictures taken from the front. My surgeon have suggested we remove a little from the sides of the tip to better match the slim top - but that will be in a year or so.
I still have to get used to my new appearance and the crease I have in the top of my nasalbone is a little annoying since my tip still looks quite bulborous. But I am a lot happier than I was before and I do think it looks better than the hump I had before :)
