I have actually had both implants placed that you are looking at. I had an Implantech Flowers Mandibular Glove years ago and now have a Implantech Medium Extended Anatomical. The are some major differences between these two implants. The first one is that the Extended Anatomical will add some noticeable lateral width to your frontal view, whereas the Flowers (even though it has wings) will not add nearly as much width. I think the Flowers looks more feminine than the Extended Anatomical as well. I think you made the right choice on size, the medium will look great! The only other implants I would consider in your case is the regular Implantech Anatomical (the one without wings). I hope your surgery goes well and I am sure you will love the results.
Do you know what kind of implant your doctor put in (silcone or medphor) or what size and style was used? If not, it is probably beneficial to get your operative notes so that you know what you have. I think the implant shape is pretty good but may be a bit too big. If I were to guess it looks like you have a Implantech Extended Anatomical (probably size L or XL) or you may have one of the Implantech square styles.
I think you should be able to go down a size or two without having to remove it, then wait a bit to put another one in. This way you only have to go through the revison surgery once. I had a larger implant replaced with a smaller one without any issues or problems.
The Terino anatomical extended is an implant which has a very slight square profile. If you replace the implant with an Implantech extended anatomical you will most likely have a rounder look than your current implant. If you are going for a square look to your face you may want to consider the Implantech Terino Style I or Terino Style II. Both of these offer a square contour from the front and side. These implants tend to run large, so I would think that a small or medium Terino Style I would like pretty good on you.
