Hey there foreversandi - not yet, still doing a lot of homework (and saving) before I get the procedures done. Dr John Frodel raised some good points about the chin/jaw relationship (cervico mantel angle) and the PS I saw so far never mentioned anything about the jaw/chin relationship. In fact, the simulation on his PC of my before and after pictures did not look very appealing. The nose was a slight improvement but my chin / length of my face looked distorted, especially compared to the rest of my body / build. He also failed to mention the 'bunching up' side effect that surgery may have. I am in South Africa and the cosmetic industry is not as diverse as it is in America / Thiland etc. So, besides trying to finalise costs for my surgery, I need to add more money to my kitty to see if I can have it done in America (I'm afraid of the language barrier in Thailand - been there before and had lots of mis communication). If not, I am going to have to plead and convince my surgeon to read up on the 'what ifs' of this kind of procedure - just so that I have peace of mind if he has to operate on me. Please visit a surgeon who specialises in both jaw/chin and nose coorective surgery. They will be able to operate on a complete picture rather than treating each aspect independently. Hope I have helped.
