My hair is thinning and fine to begin with and the facelift did not help matters. I don't think I lost any except in the sideburn area (result also of previous facelift). The back of the neck where the scars are does not seem to be growing much. But my hair does not grow fast anyhow. Bottom line it sure didn't help matters - in fact you inspired me to post a picture of my my latest "do"

anon2373 - did you ever post a review and pictures? I could not find it. I am especially interested in what you experienced as far as pain behind the ears - who your doctor was etc. I am 8 weeks post-op and have no pain there but it was a bit ouchy for the first 3-4 weeks behind the ears too. I also have scars on my neck but hair covers them - they will fade in time (lots of time) based on my previous facelift - please post full review and pictures!

Absolutely I would do it again! You think YOU were nervous - I was wondering what I was doing right up to when I was getting the IV. I read all the complications and scared myself silly. Imagined everything from being disfigured to having a stroke....but hey everything turned out just fine!

Well I was told I could eat anything I wanted. I soon figured out it hurt a LOT if I chewed much after - the jaw. Unfortunately having a healthy appetite most of the time I ate what I wanted - if you can stick to Slim Fast or something liquid and healthy and soup (but not salty as you don't want to hold water).

I felt so sorry for you when I read your disasterous twilight sleep experience. My personal experience was excellent at mentioned in my curren review. BUT when I had my last facelift 10 years ago I experienced what you did to some extent - waking up - squirming - having the ps yell at me to be still - getting a shot that did no good for the pain - it was a nightmare. I hope you are able to resolve all your issues. Good Luck!
