Good luck, you will be totally fine. I did a 6 1/2 hour surgery in Jan and my biggest fear was leaving behind my 4 year old, 2 year old and 6 month old! Yes you totally deserve it. You've worked hard to regain your body so take the opportunity while you can. Keep us updated.
Hi Houston - don't worry I have bulging hips/back too! I have been massaging Arnica cream into it twice daily and taking Arnica tablets to help with the swelling. The bruises have gone away but the swelling remains. That's why I haven't posted pics as I think it would freak people out! The fluid is only drained off my tummy tuck incision area so draining doesn't help it.
Hope you are recovering well and progressing every day!
Hi Kaleyjay so glad to hear it's all over for you but sorry you're in the worst of it right now! Yeah the lipo is still the worst pain for me as I am bruised black & blue (still 9 days later!) and swollen in those areas. Hope you are up and moving and can hold your kids soon.
Hey Houston sorry to hear you are having a rough time but sorta glad I'm not the only one!! I am wearing that breast binder thing 24/7 and it's KILLING me. My left breast is ok, but my right breast is still pointing downwards and all lumpy on the top & sides. They are both too high still so the binder is pushing them down. I don't have to wear a sports bra but had to get fitted for a super-supportive bra to help pull them up from below. My implants are over the muscle so it will take a long time for my breast tissue to flatten around them. They just look plain weird right now.
I am sure your body won't reject them so hang in there! No one ever tells you about the BA recovery taking so much time. I thought once I had implants BOOM my breasts would be awesome and I could finally go braless and wear sexy underwear....lol. The nurses tell me at least 6-12 months for final result and can take as long as 18 months. Also warned if I don't wear proper supportive bras they will still sag in the future! Lots of homework for these babies.
How is your tummy feeling? Mine is weird like a zombie stomach. Honestly it's almost totally numb between my breasts and lower abdomen (except when I move too quick then it feels like a hot knife!). Again I'm am told up to 12 months to regain feeling in my stomach!!
Thanks so much kayleyjay. Just saw my PS and he was totally unconcerned. He said they are ready to have binding on the top to push down the swelling, plus I have to wear a bra to help guide them upwards. I got implants over the muscle so may be a little different to most others.
