hi all, thanks for your supportive comments. every day i regret having the procedure, & i keep thinking back to the fact that i was 11 lbs slimmer pre-lipo and now i'm at my heaviest weight in 2 years, struggling the most i ever have to lose weight and can't stand to look at myself in the mirror b/c of all the scars (both raised & really dark).
i've been so paranoid about the scars in regards to being intimate with a guy and for the first time (after a long time) i was intimate with a guy and although i was hoping they would not be noticeable so that i wouldn't have to talk about them, they unfortunately were. it was such an awkward conversation & so embarrassing to explain. i don't expect to hear from him again, & now if i do ever settle down, all i keep thinking about is how awful the scars will look once i have kids.
@ sharon, i'm not sure when cool sculpting came out but that seems like an amazing option. at this point, i don't want to spend anymore money but what i wouldn't do to go back into time and tell my former self to get over the aspiration for flat abs and just be happy with what i have.
:*(
@ glendale340, i'm sorry i can't post pictures. the whole thing is really so depressing that i just couldn't stand to see myself in pictures. if you have light skin tone and are not prone to hyperpigmentation or scarring, then perhaps it's a good option. it wouldn't be so popular if it didn't work for people.
