My surgeon injected less than 30cc for both muscles (conservative approach)...I haven't noticed much change, then again, it's been less than a week, muscle atrophy takes a while for noticeable results, unlike botox to my forehead (immediate results, LOVE it! smoother porcelain looking forehead! :) ). Will be returning for another botox injection to the muscle in another month and probably ask for more cc.
I like your face shape, if you want definition, you might look at botox to the masseter to make your lower face look slimmer, that's what I just had done, so I'm looking forward to the results!
Look into buccal fat pad removal if you have prominent chipmunks cheeks, my doc advised against it because I'm not a strong candidate. I'm 34 and its hereditary, that even with aging our lower face still remains plump so I've never been concerned with the removal of the pad, BUT my doc says that I may not see much improvement. Note buccal fat pad isn't all that bad- youtube it. Again, our anatomy is unique.
Hi, same issue, just had botox done a few days, and jaw/lower cheeks feel sore similar to novacain injection from a dental office. Since I am a botox virgin, the doc was conservative in the cc injection, overall injection was painless, just remember to ice the entire time while at the doctors office! Can't wait for the end results!
