Thank you for your honest posts! So much good stuff you wrote in your last entry and so true!

I really think you are still experiencing a good amount of swell hell. You work your body to the max and it is not completely healed yet. I think when you get to one year post op you will have your final results. You are a person with high expectations of yourself and that is good in many ways, but I bet the best thing for your body at this point would be a little more relaxation, even though it seems impossible and counter intuitive to you. I hope you keep us updated all the way until after you've reached 1 year PO. I hope you can learn to love your body for what it is... and be happy with your decision at some point because there is no going back and no need to beat yourself up. Any man that you meet (if he is worth your time) is going to love the whole of you and understand why you did what you did. I have struggled so much in my life in that regard: feeling that I will never be lovable because of my stretch marks. Your story has actually made me want to wait. I was so excited and now I think I have to get into my best shape and maybe then everything else will look good so my stomach won't be as big of a deal. It is a huge surgery and takes lots of time to heal from and costs lots of money, I don't want to be unhappy with my results or pissed at myself for doing it. So thanks again for your honestly and also, I know everyone says it but, you really do look beautiful. Your body and everything--I hope one day you can feel it and see it to. You have a cheering section!

I just want to say that your story is one of my fav transformations on here. I love seeing people who go from being seriously over weight to having an amazing figure. It gives me hope and inspiration! I am about 1 inch taller than you and I am trying to get into the clean eating/fitness lifestyle. It is soo so hard and takes so much dedication. I just want to thank you for updating so much and up to this point (1+ year PO) so many on here just stop before then and its great to see that you are still healing up until a year later or more, but it's really great to see the scar. That's one of our biggest concerns! Patients is what I need. I may have to put off my procedure longer than I wanted to due to finances and I will use this time to get in shape so I can have a chance at an outcome like you've got.
