It will be 2 years post op for me on 15th April... I still wake up with my hands on my flat tummy marvelling at smooth skin :) Thank you Mr Fallahdar.. my hero!

Hi - thanks iw. Yes still a little numb below bb and above pubic area. Can feel touch, but when you get an itch you are not quite sure where it is! I hope it comes back but it's not really a problem.

'ditto' - I squeezed in as much exercise as possible before the op, and was walking a mile at the end of week1 5 miles week 2, back on my cycle at week 4 and did a 6k run for charity last week and back in the gym about 3 weeks now at 2 months. Put in as much as you can before, it will only make you stronger, and pleased to say the muscle tone was still there when i went back to it.

Don't be scared, there'll be ups, there'll be downs - but not heard a single person say it wasn't worth it. I was 2 months PO last wednesday and feel fantastic. For some reason just started to get a bit of swelling from time to time (maybe cos I am full on at the gym now?) but loving wearing t-shirt dresses and clingy tops. Have my 18 yr old tum back. I am in London - where are you having your op?
