Lip Lift Surgery - Boston, MA

It is so much better now, I saw pictures of myself from before and it was slightly deviated. I think from a car accident I was involved in a looong time ago but the swelling just made it so much more visable. I can say I am back to normal. Took some time, was traumatized for a while lol. Now the scar is visable. The scar can be seen on one side only, the other side is very nice. At this point, I am thinking about going to a tatoo place where they can "color" in the scar since it's whiter then my skin so they can put in a color that blends in. I would not recommend my surgeon though.

Thank you Ville331.... I am feeling more like myself now. I think I was very self conscious about how I looked and that is why I went through all that chaos but thank God that I am now back to my self :)

Wow.. thank you for that comment because I thought it was in my head because I did mention it to the surgeon and he said it was because of the swelling and for me to massage it and it should look better. I believe I still have some slight deviation but more noticeable to me then anyone else. I had told the surgeon I would be willing to come in again if I needed it to be repaired but again, he said it was normal. At this point it's been 3 months and I am looking 99 percent as myself because that is so slight. At this point in time I don't have the money to go to another surgeon but might send him an email to see what his reply would be. Thanks again and I am really happy that your surgeon was so much more open to you then mine was with me.

So glad to hear that,I wanted my stitches removed sooner to avoid scarring but the surgeon didn't want to so I had to wait 7 days :(

My kids and my ex husband know about it and so does my mother who has also been very supportive. Other then that nobody else. My surgery was March 13th and I am fine now. So I know exactly what you are going through but I want you to feel at rest that it will go away and it is just swelling. I will post pictures of myself once all is done and hope to see yours too :)
