I didn't submit mine to insurance, didnt want to deal with it. I have heard bad stories in the past about insurance controlling how surgery gets done. I wanted full control. The Dr may do it for you, I didnt ask or try. I am so happy I did this, and love my results. My belly button is so good you cannot tell I had a full tummy tuck. The way he sutures the belly button gives a really natural look. Also the quilting sutures give a sculpted look rather than just a flat tummy. I do not regret anything. I cannot understand ever using drains. It seems so many complications and pain is because of them not the surgery. Dr Pollock has a pain pump as optional. Everyone on here told me to get the pain pump. Seriously, get the pain pump. It is necessary to be comfortable.

I loved my dr. He is the leading Dr. in quilting sutures because he and his father invented a technique to do it and have been doing it longer than any dr in the entire US. They teach other Drs how to do quilting sutures. Do a search for Dr. Todd Pollock, even on this website other Drs talk about him. He did my tummy tuck and the results are better than I thought. You cannot tell looking at my belly button that I even had a full tummy tuck. I had no drains. He said he hasn't used them in many years.

I did stay overnight. It was an option to stay or go. I wanted to stay overnight. I was afraid if there were complications, I wanted to be there. It was like a luxury suite and everyone is so great in the hospital. I wanted to relax and just sleep right away and not try and get up and get in a car right after a big surgery.

Im 11 days post op and definitely have delayed motor skills and have been off balance during my post op. I drop things alot. I take valium and hydrocodone. But even if I havent taken them recent it happens. The drugs linger in my system.

I did the same thing before surgery. Pics were exciting me but worrying and grossing me out too. Its different when its your own body and I swear it is so much better looking in person than the pics I saw here. I love the results swollen or not and would do it again in a heartbeat.
