Just read your previous comments and I feel so relieved your going to a doctor in LA, I think I know who he is. Your in very good hands, thank heavens he is helping you. Please keep thinking positive thoughts new procedures and methods are coming out, there are so many women living with this same
nightmare. Stay strong.
I am very sorry that happened to you. On this blog I have seen some of the plastic surgeons say "you can take it out, it is just doing the reverse of putting it in."
Easier said than done. In some cases it is impossible, or it could actually be made even worse in trying to get it out. Be careful if you try to get it out there are so many things to know and to be aware of.
Hi,
Have you considered how a mammogram would be read with all this foreign fat in there? The older we become the greater the chance of breast cancer. I would never have this done because I would be concerned how any physician would be able to figure out what is on my mammogram. I hope you don't do it but if nothing is going to stop you, I wish you well.
My other concern is that you said finances were tight.
What happens if you have complications? How will you afford to get it fixed? Please only choose a physician certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery if you decide to it.
Thank you so much for your comments. Everything you said hits home. Especially your comments about so much can go wrong and you cannot even look at yourself in the mirror without crying. The people in your life whom love you are devastated. The cost for "repairs" which have all kinds of unpredictable risks and the outrages financial costs, not to mention emotional and then only to look "not so strange" never to look like yourself again. Lots of reputable doctors will not even do fat transfer for these reasons, wish I had never had transfer. Thank you for your comments, I hope they save others for this nightmare.
