If you're getting a dermal filler (or any cosmetic procedure, for that matter), Be sure that you or your provider get good, clear "before" pictures so you can compare with "after" pictures. You need to be able to see the results and determine if they are desirable and if the treatment was effective. It's also an important way to track what you feel might be a side effect or undesirable outcome from a treatment. A good, reputable provider will typically take photos for those reasons. You'd be surprised how many patients get something done, then notice another "flaw" in their face and swear it was a result of the treatment -- but when they see their before pictures, that "flaw" was already present. It just became more visible when surrounding areas were improved.
As the owner of a cosmetic skin care facility, I see this phenonema at least a few times each month. Good before and after pictures are crucial! ~ Andy
We're seeing great results when we "Treat to Transformation," which generally involves treating the same area up to three times. It isn't typically worthwhile treating the same area more than three times, though, as you'll see diminishing results.
So happy to hear about your great results, Watauga H! Please keep us posted!
And rebecca virginia, I'd love to hear the reasons why you chose not to do Liposonix or CoolSculpting. Have you blogged elsewhere about the procedure you DID have done?
