It has been almost two years since my treatments and my skin certainly doesn't look any better. The fraxel didn't improve the texture, the melasma; nothing. And now I am getting these, what seem to be, tiny blisters covering my cheek areas. I can't say for sure they are due to the fraxel, but I never got them before the procedure.
Please folks, DO NOT waste your money on this! Use it to go to an endocrinologist who specialize in the reasons we have such problems in the first place. That is of-course if you're having fraxel done for the same reasons as myself.
I went to Dr. Malouf in Fort Worth. I don't know if it's in his defense or not but I never once encountered him when in his office. An aesthetician did the treatments. And looking back, I had gone to someone else in the mid cities, another aesthetician and she convinced me to buy the whole obagi system that contains undesirable ingredients at $90 a bottle. Then she convinced me to buy a Clarisonic pro which was $250. She lied and told me it would diminish fine lines, it does not. I drew the line when she continually tried to sell me some pills that supposedly protect your skin from uv rays.
Just be careful folks, I feel such shame when I look at myself still. I am 38 years old and feel hopeless now as to what I should do to help my confidence and literally put my best face forward. Never trust someone who is trying to sell you something when they no longer can move any muscles in their face.
