Awesome! Please keep everyone posted. Should anything come back, you could try to get that part permanently off with 5FU. You can keep hitting it with cortisone but if it grows back after cortisone, it will grow back no matter how many times you cortisone it so you would be on an endless yoyo like me unless you tried something else.

Shirley, I am so sorry to hear that. Most of us feel like our lives have been put on hold because of an abnormal appearance but to add not being able to eat and sleep is just too much. I feel for you but and want to offer hope. Please read this and my thread to get the best idea of the procedures that should help you. Eight months isn't that long in terms of fat becoming permanent and you could at least give cortisone (and maybe 5FU) a try. I know you must feel discouraged but step by step as you try to intervene and see results, the world gets brighter again.
