Dear: Obviously you are a writer. If you aren't-you should be. Thanks for sharing your story. It was fun to read.

Hi there. That is good info on Target and Spanx, are they sold under the Spanx brand? I just bought regular medical pads-nothing special. I remember someone telling me to make sure the tape comes off easily, so you may want to pay special attention to the tape. I bought a ton and really only needed it for one day-you'll probably only have 2-4 incisions, so you won't need a lot. Probably 8 maxi pads :)

Hi again. I didn't give it a lot of thought on the kind of Dr. I was seeing-it is kind of scary if you think about it. However, Dr. K's work speaks for itself. He has a good reputation and I checked that he is in good standing as a Dr. Also, he was very detailed and took the time to do it right. As for work-I bet you will be fine. I had a TON of drainage on the day of surgery. The next day I was almost done. Day 1 recovery for me was pretty pain free. I was more uncomfotable day 3-4 but could work the entire time. Having one area done, plus it sounds like you don't have a lot in the 1 area to suck out (that's gross)-you will probably be fine! Just make sure you have pads and tape at work. They will give you some at the Drs office but I would recommend getting more and also wear something very loose to work. Also, I don't know if you have heard of Spanx? It is a girdle type thing. It is a lot more comfotable than what the Dr will give you. They sell them at Chicos and online. I started wearing Spanx a few days later and that helped a lot with comfort.

Hi Jennifer, Congrats on the honeymoon and I am sorry to hear about your grandfather. Hawaii sounds like a wonderful trip. I bet you'll look great in a bikini too! My stomach is hard sometimes and normal others. I don't mind hard. The 22nd will be here before you know it. I have 2 sons that are 8. (twins) If you click on my name you can email me. Your email address was edited out by the group running the website I think!

Hi Jbag. Was your consultation yesterday? How did it go? I can believe Dr S only does consultations 1 x a month. It seems like when someone is ready to do something like SmartLipo-they want it NOW! (At least I am like that.) My belly lump is gone unless I drink more than one glass of wine and then it is noticable to me. Weird. What procedures are you having done? I went to Mexico 6 weeks post op and my arms were still a little wrinkled and black and blue. Abs were good because I wore a 1 piece swim suit. I don't think anyone but me noticed but I wasn't as healed as I would have liked.
