Aww thank you Selah! Well the only reason why I waited to have my breasts redone was because the surgery center where my PS operates, only allows a max time of 4hrs per surgery. I could've went to the hospital and had both done but the price would've been much higher. So I opted to do them separately. And it was actually 8 wks post op from my TT I think, that I got my boobies done! It was just when I felt like I could handle another surgery! It was nice to heal one part of my body at a time though, especially since I have 4 little boys and only my husband to help me. I had no option of resting or having "healing time". So it just worked for me :)
Hi KatjaA- thank you :) As for a lift and possible BA....depending on the size of your breasts now, I always think a BA compliments a BL really nicely. I just love the way the implant shapes your best into more of a rounder fuller shape! So I do reccomend that!
As for running...they don't get in my way at all! In fact, within a few short weeks, it felt like I always had boobies this size! It's strange, but true. They become a part of you :)
I have AMAZING sports bra's that literally hold these suckers down and they don't move at all! It's by "Moving Comfort" and I bought mine off of Amazon.com which were cheaper then buying off the actual Moving Comfort website. They have a back closure, adjustable thicker straps, racerback and individual cups so you don't get that uniboob thing :)
Let me see if I can find my invoice to tell you the exact style. I've been working out for years and this is by far the BEST sports bra ever! I only have 2 but that's all I really need. They seem super durable, I just don't use Fabric softener or dry them!
Hope this helps!
Thanks Blondie :) Massaging your tummy helps soften scar tissue. I'm not sure it actually helps the nerve sensations come back. That just has to do with time and healing really. There may be areas in your tummy that will never have feeling honestly. Kind of like a csection scar did possibly? (if you had one!?). So that has to do with nerves NOT scar tissue. Massaging just softens your belly so its not so hard!
I had a dog ear removed. No biggie at all! Kind of weird to be awake and watching them cut a huge chunk of skin off, but i didn't feel a thing :) So happy to have that thing GONE!!!
Hi youngmum...I already replied to this but for some reason it didn't go through! Anyway, thank you!! :)
You definitely want to lose whatever you need to lose BEFORE surgery to achieve the best result!! I really feel that being in such great shape, made my results even better! And don't worry about the ab separation and hernia, after a TT you won't even remember you had all of that!
Your PS will decide if he/she needs to extend your scar into your hips depending on how much skin will need to be removed. But scars fade...loose skin doesn't! :)
I'm sure if you decide to take this journey, you will be SO happy that you did! Best of luck to you!!
