I had my splint on for 5 days~ Had surgery on a Wed., splint removed on Monday~ 5 days is pretty typical~ Just to go ahead and let you know that when they take the splint off you will be very swollen-You may not see very much definition in your tip~ Your nose will not even feel like a nose~ Most likely it will feel like some foreign object has been attached to your face :)That will change, too~DO NOT panic!! This is so normal~ I've had my splint off 2 weeks tomorrow & my swelling has been decreasing everyday~ Yours will, too~ Can't wait to hear what you think!!

I cannot believe what I'm reading~ These are horror stories!! And the one about the fellow performing surgery????? My surgeon had his fellow in the room with me but was absolutely not allowed to assist with any part of the surgery! You need to go with your gut-- you are reading these for a reason. Someone is obviously trying to tell you something.

I just had my 4th and final revision by Dr. William Silver here in Atlanta~ Revision rhinoplasty is his area of expertise~ He achieved what my other surgeon could not in 3 revisions~

I used Arnica prior to and after my revision on 7/20 with Dr. Silver here in Atlanta-I bruised very little~ I also had a facial after my splint was removed for lymphatic drainage- Needless to say I am beyond happy!! Good luck to you :)

Gena~ swelling for sure~ My splint has been off for a little over a week & my incision has healed beautifully- This was very important for me, too b/c my previous surgeon just could not seem to get that right either-It was so lumpy & the skin where the incision was made never flattened- There was always a definitive scar line & from the side it was extremely noticeable-- t what I am truly pleased with is my profile-Dr. Silver, if you ever read this.."thank you, thank you, thank you.You have made me so happy!" After 3 revisions w/ my other surgeon he finally gave up and said, "you have thick skin & I just don't think we will ever get the definition you want"...... well, Dr. Silver made it happen :) That's the difference in a surgeon that specializes in revision rhinoplasty & one that doesn't.
