I'm sad to hear your story Katie.
In my experience, Juvederm migrates and causes excessive swelling/fluid retention in some people.
An MRI scan confirmed I have migrated Juvederm in strange places. Not sure if it can be seen on an MRI in other parts of the face, but around the eye ball, it shows up quite clearly on a scan.
sorry Hanji - restylane can't be removed with surgery according to the plastic surgeons on this board.
it goes away after a couple of years, or with Hyalurondiase. be careful using the Hyaluronidase, make sure you see someone who has good technique. it runs down the cheek and causes indentations in other spots due to breaking down your natural HA (the skin contains approx 40% HA).

The swollen parts have been like that for 18 months.
