  Smartlipo is for body contouring not weight loss. I gained weight after my Smartlipo on my stomach, it all went to my breasts and hips, though looks a lot better than I used to. My surgery all in all was very successful and don't regret it at all! However, like everyone is pointing out, my have a reputable doctor.

  Hi everyone, just wanted to post a comment on how I'm going. It is nearly almost a year now since I got my surgery, and yes, I had a touch up. I had my stomach and love handles done. I was in a lot of pain but healed nicely. I only wore the garment for the minimum amount of time recommended. I have gained some weight since the surgery but my shape has held nicely and I am very happy. The weight went onto my breasts, hips and legs, but I don't mind curves as long as my stomach remains flat, which it has. Thought you all needed to hear a success story, I am very pleased I did it!

  It is now 2 months since I got my re-touch up, I have to say, very happy. My stomach actually looks flat, which was not achieved in the first surgery. They took out another half litre of fat on the second time, have to say, the pain was worse than the first time once the local wore off, but the results are more than worth it.

  I was charged $750, he only told me it was worse the second time after the event, I went through a lot of pain, I have bruising on my stomach. I went through this because my stomach was not even, in my opinion, it is now worse, but hasn't even been a week yet so lets see when the swelling goes down.

  Yes, and when I asked my surgeon he said re-touch is always worse! Well, that's my case anyway!
