No More Mommy Tummy :-) - Atlanta, GA

Hello everyone. Just wanted to check back in and say to thanks to everyone for the encouraging words. I am 9 days post op. Had my 1st post op appt today. I got my drains out!! Woohoo! I am hoping to feel less nauseous tomorrow after decreasing pain meds (nurse suggested to take Motrin instead of the hydrocodone). Am I supposed to still be exhausted when I walk around for 3 minutes (whew)?

@MaumeeMG I had my drains removed today! It really wasn't that bad. It was like a quick burning feeling, then it was over. It was definitely worth being drain free.

TT tomorrow morning. I haven't really been anxious (well, until now). This is probably why I can't sleep. I am a ball of emotions right now. I was excited and wanting to cry all at the same time as I was looking at my mommy tummy tonight. I need to figure out how to post a profile with before pics. I am thinking that this site will be great support during recovery. Ok, good night everyone. I will try to get some sleep.
