I just had a TT BL and silicone implant done by Dr. Soto 8 weeks ago. All I can say is that you made the BEST choice. I love him and his staff. They were available at any time to answer any questions. Your breasts remind me of my own. I decided to go with the implant so I could have volume because I lost a lot after 3 kids! My outcome is extremely natural in fact you can't even tell that it is in there!!!
Yes sponge baths and my mom washes my hair! My surgery was scheduled to start at 12 and it started at 1:30! The wait was terrible! I spent the night since I had so many things done and because I was under for over 5 hours. I really lime staying there. They had special compression wraps on my leg all night to help prevent blood clots. I just felt safe.
My primary drain ( on my left side) was clogged. It did not drain the first week. Here I thought that was a good thing and that they would take that out on my first visit back. I was wrong. The one on the left is actually more important. It's been draining since she unclogged it last week. My 2 nd follow up is in 2 days. While I'm excited, I'm also dreading the removal. It's just the weirdest feeling you could imagine!
I'm sure they won't have to reschedule your surgery. I will say that they did change the time of my surgery without letting me know. I've had that happen twice with miscommunication during scheduling.
First, you remind me of myself 2 weeks ago. I felt like I was nesting all over again! So here goes.....yes, I get around great and have actually been doing too much! My mind says go go go and my body is saying whoa whoa whoa! On day 7 I dropped my daughter off at school (stayed in car). And road to the airport. I was really car sick by the time we got back! The next day I went to get frozen yogurt. Over the weekend on went to the bookstore for singing time. Which again I was on my feet waaaaay too long.
My PS will not let me shower since o still have my drains in. He said that is an opening in your body and you don't want any type of infection. That could travel straight to the imants and cause a huge mess. So I've just listened to him....so I can't answer the shower question. I will on Wednesday after I get this last drain out.
I'm not putting anything on my scar they are actually still covered in the steri strips. My PS wants me to let them heal on their own and then he does laser scar therapy if needed.
I'm still off and on with pain meds. I stepped down to ultracet from vicoden. I take a 1/2 of an oxy every now and then mostly to help me sleep. The pain is very manageable. Mostly I'm just uncomfortable and site not pain.
I'm still sleeping in a recliner. I tried to get in bed but it just didn't work. I am however able to get in and out of the recliner. I'm sure it's not pretty!
I agree, the last week before my surgery was Hell. The anticipation was horrible. I kept playing every scenario over in my head. I spent a lot of time on here and in prayer. It really helped put me at ease. Now look at me! I'm 10 days out! Yipee. I just keep unwrapping myself to make sure this isn't a dream!
I just took my 1/2 of Oxy and am going to rest! Please don't be nervous. All you have to do is show up on Wednesday! They will do the rest!!! Good luck and please let me know if I can help you with anything else!
Megan
