Wow, treas, that was a lot of work to be done at once. I had a abdomnoplasty done and it had several complications. I was on Tylox for weeks and had two follow up surgeries afterwars. He made it sound so simple-"I do this all the time"-well my muscles hadn't been pulled together for over twenty years since my fourth c-section but I still believed the doctor's words without question. Now, nearly two years later, and a boob job, I'm happy I suffered through it, that my husband changed my dressings and that I managed to get through my eight weeks of lortabs that followed the abdomnoplasty. I feel and look great and can now run after my grandkids and swing them up in the air. This mobility was something I'd lost and with it had went all my self esteem. I'm a new woman now and I wouldn't take back all that I went through in order to get to where I am today. I say good luck to any woman going to attempt these surgeries in order to be all she can be!

I wondered, you are wrong, if it was just the silicone and there was something important that I should be aware of. I agree that not all things work the same with people. However I've had doctors tell me ridiculously that 'this cold med' will work because........it's a cold med. Not all people are the same and not all reactions can be the same. TY for replying. I hope things improve for you.

I feel bad for those of you that are having hard times, but were they all silicone? MIne are saline and behind my muscle wall. If it leaks it will just naturally be re-absorbed. I love them.

It's been over a year and I feel great and I think I look so much better. Most other doctors that have had to see me for one reason or another can't believe I healed so well. I am 54.
