    ya it is a slow process, my Dr. told me that because of all the fluid problems that i have had that it will probably be 18 months for everything to be good, my scar tissue is very bumpy and i have actually "sprung" leaks due to my stomach being so tight due to the fluid build up,it has been interesting, but even with my swelling of fluid i still look and feel 100% better, i can be patient for good results in the end, just have to think positive:)

    I had my tt back on feb21st, and i still have fluid and swelling,i think she is right when 4 months is when you really see the results,we all just need to be patient, i'm lopsided as well, but it's fluid that keeps building up, somedays are just ugh!!! but i know eventually it will be all worth it, i just wish someone would have told me to not expect results soon, i thought in a few weeks i'd be wearing a 2 peice, ha ha.

    i did not get an infection, but i did retain so much fluid that my stomach ended up pretty much splitting open and draining the fluid out of 2 holes, it has been 5 weeks and i am much better now,but i have had a staff infection in the past, with good antibiotics my infection cleared within 2 weeks, staff is staff no matter what procedure- so maybe yours will heal up within a few weeks, hopefully all will be good for you:)

    The swelling is ok,they say you can swell for several months but it's not really that bad, it's been 5 weeks and i'm pretty happy- i actually had trapped fluid in my stomach, which is not the Dr.'s fault, i think he did a good job, my scar has healed really good i think all is going good, i would recommend him to others- hes pretty layed back and he has a good personality- easy to work with and hes caring as well. I would use him if i were you, hope this helps

    my stomach swelled up so much, and my drains came out too soon so i have fluid in there, so my tummy split apart just a little, but it is healing now:)
